15 Peaks is a Roanoke-based vineyard and wine label rooted in more than two decades of Virginia winegrowing.
With permission from the farm patriarch, her father-in-law, Megan spearheaded planting the first four of now twenty acres of vines in March of 2000 on limestone outcroppings overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway. Over the past 26 years, she and her husband, Andy, have grown high-quality Vitis vinifera for some of Virginia’s notable labels, including Thibaut-Janisson, Prince Michel, Gabrielle Rausse, and Michael Shaps.
In 2023, 15 Peaks was launched as a new wine label designed to carry the Seibel family into the next quarter century. As part of Virginia’s wine story, its contribution to the agricultural and farming legacy continues. Barrel-fermented whites, Méthode Champenoise sparkling, vibrant rosé, and rich reds are among their palette-pleasing lineup of wines, crafted to showcase the character and potential of the Roanoke region.
Megan is the current chair of the Virginia Wine Board. Beyond the vineyard, she serves as a faculty member at Virginia Tech. She has spent the past 15 years as the inaugural director of VALOR, Virginia’s premier leadership development program for the agricultural industry. Andy is a career agricultural educator and leads the Virginia FFA Association. They share a joint commitment to the future of Virginia’s largest industry, agriculture, through leadership and workforce development.
Together, Megan and Andy have raised three adult children on the farm and remain deeply rooted in love of family, farming, and community.
